LCOC News & Events

From time to time, we will post newsworthy items of interest and importance to our membership. If you have information that you believe is important enough to share with the LCOC worlwide, please mail it to our home office for review. Items that we deem qualify will be added to the LCOC web site.

William Clay Ford Sr.
The father of the Lincoln Mark II died of pneumonia on March 9, 2014 at the age of 88.  A lifetime member of the LCOC since 1954, William Clay Ford Sr. was the driving force behind the Mark II, which was the follow-up to his father Edsel's Continental.  William Clay Ford, Sr.
After the demise of the Mark II, Mr. Ford stepped back from an active role in the company, but continued on the Ford Board of Directors for 57 years.  Most of the non-Lincoln community will remember him simply as the long time owner of the Detroit Lions football team.

Members of the LCOC are able to purchase any Ford vehicle under the X-plan. For details on how to begin the process, contact our president, Glen Kramer, at or give him a call (his phone is published in your LCOC directory).

Construction ContinuesFoundation Museum under construction
Unlike this picture, the windows and doors have been installed.  The stone facade around the windows is also in place.

Watch the construction - We have a webcam pointed at the museum, from which you can watch the construction. View the webcam.  It may take a few minutes for the image to show up.

Just because construction is moving along, it doesn't mean the need for donations to the Lincoln Foundation has slowed down.  Funds to complete the interior still need your financial assistance. Please open the attached form and send in your donation today. To find out more, read our brochure. Also, see the announcement of the Lincoln Museum Dedication August 6th and 10th.
